REGRESSION AND REGENERATION

Based upon the idea that doing “good” causes a rise in health, and doing “bad” things causes damage to be inflicted on yourself.
Such as; Producing a well balanced field, including summoning cards such as clarics, gives you “good” energy ( an increase in energy ), While having all combat cards draws from, or takes away from, your energy.

ENERGY

Energy, your source of health, is the “currency” you use to cast various spells and creatures within your deck. Your energy starts out at 1000, and slowly diminishes throughout gameplay.
Your goal in the game is to deplete your opponent’s energy, while trying to keep your energy from reaching 0.

STEPS OF A TURN
STEP 1: Preperation (During this step, you draw any cards you need from your deck [Limit 3, 1 on first turn], determine your karma level based upon your field, and complete any spell or creature effect that takes place during the preperation step. )

STEP 2: Main (Cast any spell or creature during this step using your energy. )
STEP 3: Combat (Attack or Defend, attack on your turn attack, on your opponent’s turn defend, and use any spells you can )

STEP 4: End (Cast anymore spells you can, then declare to your opponent that your turn is done. )

COMBAT

Combat, which is the step in which you’ll most likely defeat your opponent, is essential to the game. During a combat step, it works something along these lines. If you are attacking, you must pay a set amount of energy. However, defenders must only select cards to defend against the attacking creature. A defender is destroyed if its Vitality is lower than the attacking creatures Strength. All leftover damage is subtracted from your opponents life. If no creatures can defend, you may attack your opponents energy directly, dealing full damage of your attacking card’s Strength.

OTHER RULES

On your field, you may have a total of 14 cards. 7 spell, and 7 creature. This does NOT include equip cards, which do not take up any space on the field. On your first turn, you may only draw one card, but may draw up to 3 (Unless a card effects the game otherwise) per turn afterwards, each one costing more than the one before.

Deck Total: 40 – 60 cards
60% Spell recommended
40% Creatures recommended
